Divining, scrying or gazing is best if done using a crystal ball 4 to 5 inches in diameter and works best on nights of the full moon. The most popular size is the 4.5 inch crystal ball we offer here.

It is suggested that you light one candle in a darkened, quiet room. Hold the crystal ball or place it on the stand that is included, but it should have a blue or black velvet cloth beneath it. Make sure that there are no reflections from anything showing in the ball. Burn incense while scrying.

Center yourself in preparation for using the crystal ball. Gaze into the ball, rhythmically breathe deeply. You will loose your feeling of time... Practice this for at least 10 minutes, and increase the practice by 5 minutes with each succeeding session.

By the second or third session, you will notice a small cloudy glow in the center of the crystal ball. This is your focusing area where your visions will appear.
